Manchmal kommt es ja anders, als man denkt. Besonders bei einem Casting!

Für die Rolle des Thierry konnten wir Criss Hohmann gewinnen. Er hat uns vor allem durch seine rockige Stimme begeistert, die er in sanften und rauen Tönen über drei Oktaven gekonnt einzusetzen weiß. In den letzten zwanzig Jahren stand Criss vor allem mit Rockbands auf der Bühne und hat damit in Sachen Performance viel Erfahrung im Gepäck. Auch körperlich fit, schreckte ihn die Kampfszene im Surfanzug beim ersten Vorsingen nicht ab.

Eigentlich hatte sich auch Leon Sniggl für die Rolle des „Thierry“ bei uns vorgestellt, aber als wir Leon tanzen sahen, war klar, dass er für die Rolle des „Mario“ wie geschaffen ist. Leon besucht schon jahrelang die Balletklasse im Garchinger Tanzstudio und entsprechend gekonnt spielte er beim Casting die Kampfszene. Leon hatte auch kein Problem, die vorgegebenen Songteile zu singen. Die Rolle ist dem langhaarigen Surfer quasi auf den Leib geschrieben.

Leon löst damit Chris Dollinger alias „Mario“ ab, der aufgrund seiner neuen Familiensituation den Zeitaufwand für eine Hauptrolle nur noch mit viel Stress hätte bewältigen können. Als neue Mitglieder im „Team Tiefsee“ kommen außerdem noch Viola und Julia Fichter und Raimund Zille in unsere Crew. Die Drei bewiesen nicht nur bei der Tanz-, Kampf- und Singprobe ihre Einsatzfähigkeit. Auch beim Kostüm- und Waffenworkshop kamen weitere Talente zum Vorschein. Vor allem Julia hat sich schon länger mit der Herstellung von Martial-Arts-Kostümen befasst.

Sometimes things are different from how you think they are going to turn out, especially during a casting!
For the role of Thierry we were able to engage Criss Hohmann. He especially inspired us with his rocking voice, which he skilfully uses in gentle and rough tones over three octaves. For the past twenty years, Criss has been on stage with rock bands, in particular, bringing with him a wealth of performing experience. Also physically fit, the fight scene in the surf suit did not scare him off at the first audition.  Actually Leon Sniggl had also come forward to play the role of „Thierry“, but when we saw Leon dancing, it was clear that he was made for the role of „Mario“. Leon has been attending ballet classes in the Garching dance studio for many years and skillfully played the fight scene during the casting. Leon also had no problem singing the given song parts. The role is virtually written for the long-haired surfer.
Leon replaces Chris Dollinger aka „Mario“, who, due to his new family situation, could have coped with the time needed for a starring role only with a lot of stress.

As new members of the „Team Deep Sea“ Viola and Julia Fichter, also Raimund Zille, will join our crew. The three proved their ability, not only in the dancing, fighting and singing test but, at the costume and weapons workshop other talents also came to the fore. Especially Julia has been involved in the production of martial arts costumes for quite some time.
